If it's blinds, we do it!
• General Details:
Services can be done on-site at your home or business, with the exception of cleaning during subzero winter, in which case blinds are taken back to our heated workshop.
I can also store your blinds to keep them safe and clean during renovations. This is a great option when you have a renovation of indeterminate duration.
We can then clean and repair them as needed and reinstall and test your window fashions, ensuring that they both survive and thrive in their new environment.
Storage fee is based on time held.
I can also take drop offs. Simply put a note with your name, contact information, and what you'd like done on the blind (and bag up your blind to keep it dry and clean during weather) and leave it just inside the alcove at the front door at 8295 Rocky Meadow Circle in Reno.
We are happy to provide over the phone estimates. You may also text or email us, including sending photos or short videos of the items you have questions about. Estimates are exactly that: they are not a quote. If what is described over the phone does not match what we find on site, pricing will conform to conditions found on site.
We clean using ultrasound, soap, and water.
Blinds and other items are inspected, taken down, numbered, and taken out to the truck. Dust and bugs are blown out, then the blind immersed in an 8 foot wide ultrasound tank. Ultrasound creates microscopic implosions through-out the water, causing agitation that cleans every part of the blind. Blinds are wiped or scrubbed as necessary and appropriate, then run through a rinse tank, and set aside to dry enough to be put back up. This method is appropriate for nearly all blinds and shades.
Organic materials like silk, cotton, and wood are not compatible with immersion. Wood and woven wood blinds are cleaned by hand.
Cleaning prices are as follows, and any footage is width only:
• Cellular shades - $7/ft
• Silhouettes - $9/ft
• Luminettes - $16/ft
• Vertical (vinyl/ fabric) - $14/ft
• 1" metal/plastic mini blind - $18/ea (over 5ft = $22)
• 2" metal/plastic faux-wood blind - $18/ea (over 5ft = $22)
